Standard Test Method for Slit Tear Resistance of Leather

This test method covers the determination of the slit tear resistance of light leathers such as shoe uppers, gloves, and upholstery. This test method does not apply to wet blue. 1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard.
