Standard Practice for Receiving, Documenting, Storing, and Retrieving Evidence by a Forensic Service Provider
1.1 This practice covers procedures and techniques for a forensic service provider to protect and document the identity and integrity of items of physical evidence with respect to suitability for scientific testing and admissibility as evidence in litigation.
1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
