Standard Test Method for Microindentation Hardness of Materials
This test method covers determination of the microhardness of materials, the verification of microhardness testing machines, and the calibration of standardized test blocks. Appendix X1 provides guidance in establishing correlation of microhardness tests when two or more laboratories are involves. 1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
