This ATIS Technical Report provides guidenance on the meaning and for the Upstream Power Back (UPBO) control parameters for ITU-T Recommednation G.993.2 (VDSL2) when used in a North American environment. Two paramaters ‘a’ and ‘b’ to control UPBO are defined in ITU_T Recommendation G.993.2. This TR explains the meaning of these parameters, ezamples of their use, and guidence to Network Operators and others on appropriate setting of their values.
