This European Standard covers the technical requirements necessary to avoid or minimize the significant hazards listed in Clause 4 which could occur during normal operation, maintenance or foreseeable misuse (in accordance with the data given by the manufacturer or his authorised representative) of industrial trucks. Trucks for group II suitable for explosive atmospheres of gas, vapour or mist shall be subdivided in accordance with the respective mixture of the potentially explosive atmospheres in which they are intended to operate.
