Safety of industrial trucks. Pedestrian propelled trucks. Stacker trucks (British Standard)

This standard applies to manually propelled straddle, pallet and platform stacker trucks with capacities not exceeding 1000 kg. For the purposes of this standard a manually propelled stacker truck (hereinafter referred to as a "truck") is a masted truck, equipped with forks, a platform, or other load handling device. The truck shall be designed to be manually pushed or pulled on a substantially horizontal hard surface by one pedestrian operator. The load maybe raised by either manual means or electrical battery power.
