Safety of industrial trucks. Pedestrian propelled trucks. Pallet trucks (British Standard)

This standard applies to pedestrian controlled, manual and semi-manual pallet trucks with lift heights up to 300 mm and rated capacities up to 2,000 kg, hereinafter referred to as "trucks". Special applications call for rated capacities above 2000 kg. Pallet trucks for these capacities may warrant requirements additional to those laid down in the present standard. For the purposes of the present standard, a pallet truck is a truck without a mast with more than two wheels and with two fork arms or other load-handling device.
