Performance Standards for Antimicrobial Disk and Dilution Susceptibility Tests for Bacteria Isolated from Animals; Approved Standard-Second Edition

If antimicrobial agent susceptibility of an organism cannot be predicted based upon identity of the organism alone, antimicrobial susceptibility testing of organisms isolated from disease processes in animals is indicated.
