Preface
This is the harmonized CSA and UL standard for particular requirements for hedge trimmers. It is the first edition of CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60745-2-15, and the first edition of ANSI/UL 60745-2-15. This standard is an adoption, with national differences, of the identically titled IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Standard 60745-2-15, (edition 2.1, 2009-06).FOREWORD
1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields.
