DIN 1045-2:2008

Concrete, reinforced and prestressed concrete structures - Part 2: Concrete - Specification, properties, production and conformity - Application rules for DIN EN 206-1

This standard combines DIN 1045-2:2001-07, DIN 1045-2/A2:2007-06 and E DIN 1045-2/A3:2008-01, which has been amended following the enquiry procedure, to form a consolidated version. DIN 1045-2 specifies requirements for the performance, production, and conformity of concrete which are valid together with the provisions of DIN EN 206-1:2001-07 and which makes this European Standard applicable in Germany. Owing to the inclusion of DIN 1045-2/A2 and E DIN 1045-2/A3 the following amendments apply - adjustment of rules for taking into account fly ash as addition in the exposure classes XF2 and XF4 as well as the adjustment of fly ash containing cements - inclusion of classes for wetness from the guideline for alkali-reaction in concrete - inclusion of application rules for admixtures aggregates, light-weight aggregates, fly ash, silica fume and fibres.
