Thermoplastics extruded profiles - General tolerances of size, form and orientation

This standard applies to general tolerances for dimensions and tolerances of form and position for extruded profiles of plastics materials. If smaller tolerances are required or higher tolerances are permissible and more economical, a detailed specification is necessary. The standard contains three tolerances series with different grades of accuracy for the lateral or longitudinal axis of the extruded profile.*This standard is applicable for general tolerances of size, form and orientation of thermoplastics extruded profiles and serves the simplification of drawings and other documents (for instance, delivery conditions). The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN 16941:1986-05: a) normative references updated; b) editorially revised. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 054-04-02 AA "Halbzeuge aus Thermoplasten" ("Semi-finished thermoplastic products") of the Plastics Standards Committee (FNK) at DIN.
