Measurement of vibration immissions - Part 1: Vibration meters - Requirements and tests

This standard specifies requirements of vibration measuring instrumentation (vibration meter) as well as tests of different extense and precision. These vibration meters are used in vibration immission issues and serve to measure vibration which affect buildings and/or people in buildings. It specifies requirements of frequency and time weightings as basis for determination of evaluation quantities which follow from the specifications in DIN 4150-2 and DIN 4150-3. This standard specifies which tests are at least to be performed by the manufacturer, user or on their behalf in order to verify fulfillment of the requirements of the vibration meter. Additionally it specifies which information is to be given in the documentation of the several tests.
