Liquid fuels - Fuel oils - Part 1: Fuel oils EL, specifications (Foreign Standard)

Specified are the requirements for domestic fuel and the test methods.*This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-06-34 AA "Anforderungen an Heiz÷le und Schifffahrtsbrennstoffe" ("Requirements for fuel oils and marine fuels") of the Petroleum, Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products Standardization Committee (FAM) at the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP). This document defines the requirements and test methods for fuel oil EL, which is particularly suited for oil firing installations according to DIN 4755 and oil appliances according to TR╓I. Regarding sulphur content, this document specifies two qualities. According to the manufacturers or the specifications of local waste water regulations (for example, Worksheet ATV-DVWK-A 251), only low-sulphur fuel oil EL according to DIN 51603-1 may be used in certain installations.
