Stamped steel parts - Part 1: Technical delivery conditions

This standard applies to parts produced exclusively by stamping processes from flat steel products with a thickness of cover 0,1 mm and called, in short, "stampings". This standard does not cover fine banking processes. Any requirements and applications deviating shall be settled by special agreement.*This standard is the technical revision of the standard which has been published in 2010-01. The modifications are primarily limited to the currently valid references and an editorial revision. This standard is applied for parts which are exclusively manufactured by stamping methods from flat products with a thickness of more than 0,1 mm and which are, in brief, called stamped parts. This also includes nibbling. This standard does not apply for methods of fine blanking. Deviating requirements and applications shall especially be agreed on. This standard has been prepared by NA 026-00-03 AA "Stanzteile" ("Stamped parts") of the Springs, Stamped Parts and Moulded Parts Standards Committee (NAFS) at DIN, the German Institute for Standardization e.
