Safety of machinery - Human physical performance - Part 4: Evaluation of working postures and movements in relation to machinery (Foreign Standard)

This European Standard presents guidance to the designer of machinery or its components parts in assessing and controlling health risks due to machine- related postures and movements, i.e. during assembly, installation, operation, adjustment, maintenance, cleaning, repair, transport, and dismantlement. The standard specifies recommendations for postures and movements with minimal external force exertion. The recommendations are intended to reduce the risks for nearly all healthy aduts.
