Micrographic examination of the non-metallic inclusion content of steels using standard pictures; German version EN 10247:2007 (FOREIGN STANDARD)
This European standard defines a method of microscopic nonmetallic inclusion assessment using picture charts. The method does not apply to inclusions of length less than 3 ╡m or smaller than 2 ╡m width. Defined by a product standard or an agreement between the involved parties for certain special products inclusions with a width below 2 ╡m can only be evaluated according their length.
