Refrigerating systems and heat pumps - Valves - Requirements, testing and marking

This European standard specifies safety requirements, safety factors, test methods, test pressures used and marking of refrigerating valves and other components with similar bodies, hereinafter called valves, for use in refrigerating systems. It describes the procedure to be followed when designing (by calculation or by an experimental design method) valve parts subjected to pressure as well as the criteria to be used in the selection of materials.
