Cranes - Safety - Design - Requirements for equipment - Part 1: Electrotechnical equipment (Foreign Standard)

This European Standard specifies requirements for the design and selection of low voltage electrotechnical equipment for all types of crane, with the objective of ensuring reliability of function and protecting personnel from hazards affecting their health and safety. Specific requirements for particular types of crane, and lifting attachments, are given in the appropriate European Standards. This standard doesn't deal with voltages over 1000 V a.c. and 1500 V d.c..
