Terminations for steel wire ropes - Safety - Part 6: Asymmetric wedge socket (Foreign Standard)

This European Standard specifies the minimum requirements, for asymmetrical wedge socket terminations for stranded steel wire ropes. The annexes A and B give examples for suitable designs of asymmetric wedge sockets. Annex C gives instructions for safe use and inspection. The hazards covered by this standard are identified in clause 4.
