The consolidated version of EN 71-1:2008 contains the Amendments A1:2007, A3:2006, A4:2007, A5:2008, A6:2008 and the Corrigendum AC:2006. Amendment A1: In 4.19 and 7.14 requirements regarding the marking of toys using percussion caps are added. Amendment A3: in 4.15.5.4 requirements regarding scooters are specified. Amendment A4: In 4.11 and 4.17.1 b) requirements regarding mouth-actuated toys and projectiles are specified. In 8.17 the testing of mouth-actuated toys is added. Annex A "Background and rationale for this standard" is revised. Amendment A5 In 3.4 the Definition has changed. In 8.32 requirements regarding small balls are specified. A 48 regarding small balls is added. Amendment A6: In 4.8, 8.13 und A9: requirements regarding points and metallic wires are specified. In 4.21 requirements regarding toys with non-electric heat source are specified. Objects intended for drinking are deleted from the exceptions. Corrigendum 1: In 8.11.2.1 has "40 ╡m" to be substituted by "0,40 ╡m".
