DIN EN ISO 11925-2:2011
Reaction to fire tests - Ignitability of products subjected to direct impingement of flame - Part 2: Single-flame source test (ISO 11925-2:2010); German version EN ISO 11925-2:2010
This European Standard specifies a method of test for determining the ignitability of products by direct small flame impingement under zero impressed irradiance using specimens tested in a vertical orientation.*This European Standard specifies a test method for determining the ignitability of products by direct small flame impingement under zero impressed irradiance using vertically oriented test specimens. Information on the precision of the test method can be found in the standard. The former additional procedure for products that melt and shrink away from the flame without being ignited has been omitted. The European Standard has been prepared by ISO/TC 92/SC 1 "Fire initiation and growth" (according to the Vienna Agreement; leadership: ISO) and CEN/TC 127 "Structural Fire Protection", the secretariats of which are held by BSI (United Kingdom). At DIN the national Mirror Committee is Working Committee NA 005-52-01 AA "Brandverhalten von Baustoffen und Bauteilen - Baustoffe" ("Fire behaviour of building materials and elements - Building materials") of NABau.
