Resilient floor coverings - Determination of flexibility and deflection (ISO 24344:2008); German version EN ISO 24344:2012

This standard specifies methods for determining flexibility and deflection of resilient floor coverings.*DIN EN ISO 24344 specifies methods for determining the flexibility and deflection of resilient floor coverings. This standard differs from DIN EN 435:1994-11 as follows: a) "flexibility" has been replaced with "flexibility and deflection"; b) Methods A and B have been revised; c) clause 8 "Expression of results for both methods" has been extended; d) clause 9 "Test report" has been extended; e) clause 10 "Precision and bias statement" has been included; f) all clauses have been editorially revised. The text of ISO 24344:2008 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 219 "Floor coverings" (secretariat: KATS, Korea) of the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) and has beenadopted as EN ISO 24344:2012 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 134 "Resilient, textile and laminate floor coverings", the secretariat of which is held by BSI (United Kingdom). The collaboration of DIN at the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) for the field of responsibility of CEN/TC 134 is performed through Working Committee NA 054-04-05 AA "Bodenbeläge" ("Floor coverings") of the Plastics Standards Committee (FNK).
