DIN SPEC 91434:2021
Agri-photovoltaic systems - Requirements for primary agricultural use
This DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure has been drawn up by a DIN SPEC (PAS)-consortium set up on a temporary basis. This DIN SPEC has been developed and approved by the authors named in the foreword of the DIN SPEC. This document specifies requirements for primary agricultural use in the field of agriphotovoltaics (APV). In doing so, it specifies requirements for planning, operation, documentation and operational monitoring, as well as measurement indicators for the test method for the quality assurance of APV systems. All requirements and indictors here relate to agricultural use. Requirements for primary agricultural use are, for example, the light intensity and light distribution under the APV system, which are also adapted to the needs of the respective crop. Thisdocument does not specify any requirements in the area of classic ground-mounted photovoltaic systems, as corresponding standards already exist for these. Wherever reference is made to existing electrotechnical quantities, and technical specifications and requirements for electrical installations, existing standards and regulations apply. The combination of greenhouses and solar modules, and the cultivation concept of "vertical farming" are not subjects of this document.
