ANSI E1.6-3 is a revision of the previous 2012 version. It establishes minimum safety requirements for the selection and use of serially manufactured electric link-chain hoists in the entertainment industry. This standard is intended to reduce injury and provide for the protection of life, limb and property. This standard does not address the design or maintenance of these hoists.
