Safety plates, plate straps, notched plates and safety collars
Safety plates, plate straps, and safety collars covered by this standard are intended for use in protecting pipes running through walls, top and sole plate. This standard strictly applies to safety plates and plate straps used solely as protection device and structural support system when notching occurs at the top and/or sole plates. This standard also applies to safety collars to be used as a protection device.
