Polyethylene of raised temperature (PE-RT) tubing
This standard establishes requirements for polyethylene of raised temperature (PE-RT)tubing made to standard thermoplastic tubing dimension ratios (SDR) that is outsidediameter controlled, and pressure rated for water at 73°F (23°C), 140°F (60°C) and180°F (82.2°C). Included are requirements for material, workmanship, dimensions andtolerances, product tests, and markings for PE-RT tubing.The tubing produced under this standard is intended for use in general fluid transport,including hydronics and irrigation systems. This standard does not address potablewater applications.
