Solderability Tests for Component Leads, Terminations, Lugs, Terminals and Wires


IPC/EIA/JEDEC J-STD-002B provides the tools to assess solderability of electronic component leads, terminations, solid wire, stranded wire, lugs and tabs. This revision includes a significant change in the type of flux required to be used for solderability testing. The standard includes test method choices, defect definitions, acceptance criteria and illustrations for both suppliers and users. Produced by IPC and EIA associations STC and JEDEC.
