Dental resin-based pit and fissure sealants

The specified sealant materials harden by free radical polymerization and protect teeth from the formation of caries. This standard covers both chemically cured and externally-energy-cured materials. Specific quantitative and qualitative requirements for freedom from biological hazard are not included.
