Management systems for United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - Requirements

This International Standard specifies requirements for a Sustainable Development Goals Management System when an organization:

 
     
  1. Needs to demonstrate and enhance its work and performance towards the UN SDGs.
  2.  
  3. Seeks to manage its responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the pillars of sustainability.
  4.  
 

Consistent with the SDG policy of the organization, the intended outcome of an SDG management system is to: 

 
     
  1. Enhance the organization’s performance. 
  2.  
  3. Fulfil compliance obligations.
  4.  
  5. Achieve selected SDG objectives.
  6.  
  7. Increase success.
  8.  
  9. Create trust and confidence to relevant existing and future stakeholders.
