Design, Fabrication, and Surface Finish Practices for Tanks and Vessels to Be Lined for Immersion Service

This standard details standard practices for the design, fabircation, and surface finish of metal tanks and vessels to be lined for corrosion resistance and to prevent product contamination, and explains how the standard practices govern the quality of lining applications. Included are several appendices containing iillustrations of metal tanks and vessels, recommended responsibilities, and a graphic representation of the various degrees of weld surface finishes. A plastic weld comparator can be purchased seperately, and is meant to be used with Appendix C. This standard is maintained by Task Group 295.
