Standard for Combustible Metals

This standard applies to the production, processing, finishing, handling, recycling, storage, and use of all metals and alloys that are in a form that is capable of combustion or explosion, as well as to operations where metal or metal alloys are subjected to processing or finishing operations that produce combustible powder or dust.    Please note: This Standard is no longer accepting Public Input due to the Combustible Dust Document Consolidation Plan (consolidation plan) as approved by the NFPA Standards Council. As part of the consolidation plan, this Standard is slipping cycle and being combined into a new consolidated draft. Once the new draft is available and open for Public Input, this notice will be updated with a link to the applicable document information page.
