NFPA 53 Recommended Practice on Materials, Equipment, and Systems Used in Oxygen-Enriched Atmospheres, 2016 edition

1.1 Scope. This document establishes recommended minimum criteria for the safe use of oxygen (liquid/gaseous) and the design of systems for use in oxygen and oxygen-enriched atmospheres (OEAs). 1.2 Purpose. The purpose of this recommended practice is to provide information for the selection of materials, components, and design criteria that can be used safely in oxygen and OEAs.
