This Standard encourages participation in the manufacturing of personal care products using organically grown ingredients within the supply chain. It emphasizes open disclosure of impacts and benefits, and does not compromise proprietary, patented, or trade secret information. Production practices implemented in accordance with this Standard shall maintain or improve the natural resources of the operation, including soil and water quality.
