Ultraviolet microbiological water treatment systems
This version of the Standard contains the following revisions: Issue 33 - The component burst pressure test requirement under section 5 was removed from the family of DWTU standards. Issue 34 - This revision removed the retesting requirement for contaminants that exceed the non-health based advisory concentration. Issue 35 - The proposed revision will add the option to use T1 Phage as the challenge organism for Class B devices under NSF/ANSI 55. It is the intent of the Joint Committee to eliminate the use of S. cerevisiae as a challenge organism for Class B devices from the Standard after September 2017, a period of five years from the adoption of using T1 Coliphage as a challenge organism for Class B devices.
