Rubber and thermoplastics hoses and hose assemblies for liquid or gaseous chemicals - Specification

This document lays down requirements for two types (type D and type SD) and, on the basis of their electrical properties, four classes of hose lines with rubber or thermoplastic hoses and metal hose fittings for conveying liquid or gaseous materials; these are referred to below as 'promoted chemicals'. The hose lines are intended for use with the conveyed chemicals in the temperature range from -20 °C to +65 °C at an operating pressure of less than 10 bar. This document does not apply to hose lines for: - aircraft refuelling (EN ISO 1825); - fuel duty (EN 1360); - Oil burners (EN ISO 6806); - refrigerant circuits; - fuel tankers (EN 1761); - Liquefied gases (LPG) (EN 1762, EN 16436-2); - fire brigades (EN ISO 14557); - suction and extraction of oil (EN 1765); - Rotary drilling (EN ISO 6807); - fuel output with gas recirculation (EN 13483); - Anhydrous ammonia (EN ISO 5771).
