Fat and oil derivatives - Fatty Acid Methyl Esters - Determination of methanol content
This document lays down a procedure for the determination of the methanol content of fatty acid methyl esters (FAME) that are intended for use as diesel fuel or heating oil. This procedure is applicable to methanol content of 0.01% (m/m) up to 0,5% (m/m). This procedure is not applicable to FAME mixtures which contain other low-boiling components.
