Fat and oil derivatives - Fatty Acid Methyl Esters (FAME) - Determination of iodine value (Austrian Standard)


The project is based on the mandate M/245 on the elaboration of standards covering minimum requirement specifications including test methods for fatty acid methylester, as fuel for diesel engines and space heating. The standardisation work has been allocated to CEN/TC 19 (specifications) and CEN/TC 307 (methods of analysis). EN 14111 specifies a method for the determination of iodine value of fatty acid methylesters.
