Inflatable play equipment - Part 1: Safety requirements and test methods

This document applies to inflatable play equipment for intended use by children aged fourteen years and below, either individually or to several. This document lays down safety requirements for inflatable play equipment on or in which the main operations are jumping and slipping. It lays down measures for the management of hazards and also the reduction of accidents of users to be observed by the authorities involved in the design, manufacture and supply of inflatable play equipment. It determines the information to be supplied with the play equipment. The requirements have been established taking into account the risk factor, based on the available data.
