Children's high chairs - Requirements and test methods
This document specifies safety requirements for lift tables with the following characteristics: - They do not reach more than 2 fixed stops but are able to pass through one fixed stop; - They have a vertical travel speed of no more than 0.15 m/s, unless the lifting table is safe due to the installation position and - for lifting or lowering goods (with or without operator(s) and/or authorized persons). ) person(s), or - for lifting or lowering operators and/or authorized persons with or without goods into positions in which they can carry out work from a fixed or portable lifting table, which is only guided over its vertical lifting path . This document specifies the appropriate technical measures to avoid or reduce the risks arising from the major hazards listed in Annex B. This document does not apply to the following devices: - Lift tables with a vertical travel speed of more than 0.15 m/s, unless they are safe due to the installation position; - Lifting tables for lifting goods that reach more than 2 stops in a building and whose lifting speed does not exceed 0.15 m/s (EN 1570-2:2016); - Lifting tables for lifting operators who approach more than 2 stops in a building and whose lifting speed does not exceed 0.15 m/s; - lifting tables for transporting operators, installed with a complete enclosure, where the lifting speed does not exceed 0.15 m/s; - lifting tables for use on ships; - Lifting tables for artists and stage equipment during artistic performances (EN 17206:2020); - powered lifting platforms for people with reduced mobility (EN 81-41:2010); - mobile lifting tables as airport ground equipment (EN 1915-2:2001+A1:2009 and EN 12312-1:2013); - mobile aerial work platforms (EN 280-1:2022); - Group B fixed aerial work platforms (EN 280-1:2022); - Vehicle lifts for maintenance (EN 1493:2022); - mobile lifting tables for firefighting (EN 1777:2010); - mobile lifting tables with a horizontal travel speed of more than 1.6 m/s; - Storage and retrieval machines (EN 528:2021+A1:2022); - Industrial trucks with scissor lifting devices for pallets (EN ISO 3691-5:2015, including EN ISO 3691-5:2015/AC:2016 and EN ISO 3691-5:2015/A1:2020); - hanging lifting tables. This document does not specify additional requirements for: - electromagnetic compatibility; - Operation under difficult conditions (e.g. extreme climate, applications in freezing areas, strong magnetic fields); - Operations subject to special regulations (e.g. potentially explosive atmosphere, mine); - handling loads that by their nature could lead to dangerous situations (e.g. molten metals, acids, radiant materials, especially brittle loads, loose loads (gravel, pipes)); - Hazards that occur during production, transport and disposal; - Equipment installed on the load platform or its replacement or maintenance; - installation in systems or other machines, etc.; - wireless controls; d. H. wireless - lifting tables in which the hydraulic pressure is generated directly by gas pressure; - the lifting table is driven by combustion engines.
