ONORM EN 16228-6:2022
Drilling and foundation equipment - Safety - Part 6: Jetting, grouting and injection equipment
This European standard, together 1, deals with all essential threats to devices for injection work if they are used as intended and under the conditions of the misuse, which are reasonably predictable by the manufacturer and are connected with the entire lifespan of the machine. The requirements in this part apply in addition to the requirements placed in EN 16228-1: 2014+A1: 2021. This document does not repeat the requirements of EN 16228-1: 2014+A1: 2021, but complement or replace the requirements for the use of devices for injection work. Devices for drilling, vibration drilling, pile rams that are used to manufacture holes for these applications are dealt with in EN 16228-2: 2014+A1: 2021 and/or EN 16228-4: 2014+A1: 2021. Devices for injection work are used to prepare, transport and use injection materials, either: - To improve ground conditions; Or - for filling cavities, e.g. B. around piles or soil anchors. Devices for injection work include all devices and electrically operated devices and systems with pneumatic, mechanical or hydraulic drive that are necessary for the following: - Mix, store, measure and pump of substances (cement plugs, mortar or chemical liquids/mixtures); - injection processes (from/to the surface) with low, medium or high pressure or vacuum systems; - all control systems, electrical or mechanical pressure and flow recording devices for monitoring pressing; - All injection accessories, such as: special tools, lances, rods, sleeves/sleeves, filling devices, holding clamps and vertebral hooks. This document does not apply to machines and equipment for promoting, spraying and distributing concrete and mortar (covered by EN 12001). This document does not apply to units for injection work that are intended for use with products that generate toxic gases.
