Drilling and foundation equipment - Safety - Part 7: Interchangeable auxiliary equipment

This European standard, together 1, deals with all significant hazards for interchangeable additional equipment if they are used as intended and under the conditions of the misuse, which are reasonably predictable by the manufacturer and are connected with the entire lifespan of the machine. The requirements in this part apply in addition to the common requirements placed in EN 16228-1: 2014+A1: 2021. This document does not repeat the requirements of EN 16228-1: 2014+A1: 2021, but complement or replace the requirements for the use of interchangeable additional equipment. This document determines the special safety requirements for interchangeable additional equipment that are to be used for drilling and start-up work in connection with devices for drilling and founding work, agricultural devices and/or earth construction machines if they are intended and under the conditions of the misuse, which are reasonably from Manufacturers are predictable. Explant additional equipment includes ramming and drawing devices, impact hammers, drawing hammers, vibrators, deep shakers, static ram/drawing devices, rotating drilling hammers, rotary drilling drives, drilling mast equipment such as mäkler, which are equipped with drilling frames and gearboxes and attached to the outer of an excavator, as well as oscillating/piercing masters. Slit wall cutting tools are treated in EN 16228-5: 2014+A1: 2021.
