Safety of toys - Part 2: Flammability

This document defines the categories of flammable materials whose use is prohibited in all toys and flammability requirements for certain toys when exposed to a small source of ignition. The test methods described in section 5 shall be used to determine the flammability of toys under the specified test conditions. The test results obtained in this way shall not be considered as providing comprehensive information on the possible fire hazard of toys or materials when these other sources of ignition are exposed.
