Cycles - Luggage carriers for bicycles - Requirements and test methods (ISO 11243:2023)
This document places requirements for security and performance in the constructive execution and testing of both non -bicycle -specific luggage racks that are intended for cultivation (with and without tools), as well as bicycle -specific luggage racks that are intended for cultivation on complete bicycles,, firmly. It is applicable for luggage racks that are intended for cultivation above and on the side of the vehicle wheels. This document formulates guidelines for the use and maintenance of such bicycle baggage racks. This document is not applicable to removable luggage bags (e.g. bags or baskets on handlebars that are not permanently fastened). Toy carriers, which are intended for cultivation to bicycles of small children and are recorded by the scope of ISO 8098, are not dealt with in this document.
