Small craft - Hull construction and scantlings - Part 10: Rig loads and rig attachment in sailing craft (ISO 12215-10:2020)

This document specifies procedures for the determination of: - the design loads and design stresses for rigging elements and - the loads and dimensions of rigging accessories and mast feet/supports for single-hull and multi-hull sailing vehicles. In addition, the annexes to the document also indicate "existing practices" for the evaluation of mast feet/mast supports or püttings. This document is applicable to vessels with a hull length LH of up to 24 m, but can also be applied to watercraft of up to 24 m construction waterline. Dimensions derived from this document are primarily intended to be used for recreational craft, including charter vessels. This document is not applicable to racing watercraft designed exclusively for professional racing. This document takes into account only the loads that occur during sailing.
