Thermal spraying - Zinc, aluminium and their alloys - Part 2: Execution of corrosion protection systems (ISO 2063-2:2017)
The present document sets requirements for corrosion protection of steel structures, components or parts that are coated by zinc, aluminium and their alloys by thermal spraying. This document specifies requirements for the manufacturer of the layer with respect to the surface preparation, of thermal spraying, testing and follow-up treatment, such as sealing layer. This document applies to metallic corrosion protective coatings for new production both in the workshop and on the building site and for repairs at the construction site after installation. Requirements for the coating thickness, the minimum bond strength and surface States, set in a layer specification, are listed. Recommendations for appropriate steps and measures to quality assurance in new manufacturing and repair, and to the monitoring of corrosion protection are given.
