Compound, Silicone Rubber Remover Aircraft Turbine Engine Components Room Temperature Application

This specification covers a silicone-rubber-remover compound in liquid form of a liquid supplied as a ready-to-use product. This compound has been used typically for removal of silicone rubber adhesive/sealant materials from turbine engine components by immersion at room temperature, but usage is not limited to such applications. This compound shall not be used on steel parts having hardness of 40 HRC or over.
