This specification covers the engineering requirements for producing brazed joints in parts made of steels, iron alloys, nickel alloys, and cobalt alloys using gold-nickel alloy filler metal. This process has been used typically for joints requiring high strength and corrosion and oxidation resistance up to 1300 \mDF (704 \mDC), but usage is not limited to such applications.
