This specification covers a polyamide-imide plastic filled with graphite and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) in the form of molded or extruded bar, rod, and shapes. These products have been used typically for parts requiring low coefficient of friction, wear resistance, thermal resistance, and toughness up to 250 degrees C (482 degrees F), but usage is not limited to such applications.
