Specifies requirements and where appropriate test methods to establish conformity with these requirements for footwear intended to protect the wearer's feet against foreseeable hazards in a variety of workplaces. This Standard has been reproduced from ISO 8782-1:1998 with additional requirements for Australia and New Zealand in an Appendix.
