Test method for measuring compressive properties of mineral wool products (TEXT OF DOCUMENT IS IN CHINESE)
This standard specifies instrument and equipment, sample preparation, test procedures, and result calculation for the determination of the compressive property of a mineral wool board, semirigid board, and felt.
This standard applies to the determination of the compressive strength and compressive elastic module of a mineral wool board, semirigid board, and felt.
This standard specifies two methods: method A and method B.
Method A applies to the mineral wool boards whose load-deformation curve includes a part of an approximate straight line. This kind of curve may or may not have a distinguishable compression yield point, as shown in figure 1 and figure 2.
Method B applies to mineral wool felt and semirigid boards whose rigidity increase with increase in load, as shown in figure 3.
This standard also applies to mineral wool products which are more representative than method A and method B, or to mineral wool products whose load-deformation curves are different than those shown in figure 1, 2 and 3.
This standard does not apply to reflective, profiled, or incompact mineral wool adiabatic materials.
